Attorney Chelsea M Payant has recently joined the firm. After graduating from Antigo High School, Chelsea obtained her finance degree from Marquette University School of Business. She then earned her juris doctor from Marquette University School of Law. While in undergraduate and law school, Chelsea was in the Pre-Law Honors Program. She graduated both undergraduate and law school cum laude.
She clerked for Judge Ramirez at the Waukesha County Courthouse. She also worked at the Hippenmeyer, Reilly, & Blum law firm, a general practice firm. She then worked at the State Public Defenders Milwaukee Division.
Chelsea primarily practices criminal law, family law, estate planning, and general litigation. She takes Public Defender cases and Court Appointed cases in criminal court. Additionally, she is appointed by courts as guardian ad litem on family cases.
Chelsea participated in an International Dispute Resolution Program in Israel and Palestine. She also spent time in South Africa and Italy studying. Chelsea is currently the treasurer of the Langlade County Bar Association.
